Registered Psychologist
I’m Brittney Khalil, a Registered Psychologist in Edmonton. I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Since 2019, I have worked with children and families as a behavioural consultant and transitioned into therapy in May 2022. I work with children, youth, adults and families, offering compassionate, culturally-informed therapy for life transitions, trauma, anxiety, ADHD and more.
My Therapeutic Approach
I believe therapy should be dynamic, collaborative and tailored to your unique journey. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, Jungian and person-centred theories. I pay attention to how culture, family, past and present experiences, body and mind, and identity all come together.
With my background as a second-generation Lebanese Canadian, I understand the interplay of individualistic and collectivist values. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate cultural challenges and discover an integrated sense of self.
