Registered Provisional Psychologist
I’m Lukas Hagstrom, a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Edmonton working with teens, adults and families who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, behavioural challenges and gender-affirming growth. I am part of the One Tree Psychological team, offering a safe, affirming and inclusive space for change and healing.
There is no single blueprint to living a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I fully believe you already possess the tools you need to achieve that. I have been working in the mental health industry for over eight years in an array of helping roles.
My Therapeutic Approach
I believe therapy should be collaborative, inclusive and goal-oriented. Together we explore where you’ve been, where you are now and where you want to go. I tailor the process to you, with respect, flexibility and authenticity.
Using a person-centerd and trauma informed approach, I aim to help you discover tools you never knew you had, utilizing integrative methods drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness practices, dialectical behavioural therapy, emotion focused therapy, and existential therapy.

At One Tree, I also work with teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma and behavioural concerns. In addition, I provide family therapy for those seeking healthier communication and deeper connection. I am passionate about offering gender-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming therapy, creating a space where identity, culture and lived experience are respected and supported.
